the world as you know it.







1. this area is mostly frost elves, winter gnomes, and ice. not a lot of habitable area, and the residents don't much do a lot of trade with the outside world.

2. this is the green north. this is where you will be starting.

3. great plains. zero resources, not even really worth the land. barbarian tribes roam here, following the native deer.

4. Chesseck. this is a modern nation, that shed the shackles of a monarchy hundreds of years ago. it is ran by a council of 13 elected officials. they thrive on trade, commerce, working for what you get, and thriving MOSTLY based on your merits. there is still a lot of "old money".

5. Demelile. this nation too has gotten rid of a monarch, but only about 80 years ago. they have modeled themselves after the thriving nation of Chesseck, but have put their own twists on it. their council consists of only 3. there is also a lot of familys that were formerly nobles that still carry a LOT of weight.

6. Senthlas. this was a minor elven nation, it has been out of contact with the rest of the world for the past 20 years, no ship traveling there since has come back. it is assumed the elves have closed their borders and are attacking everyone from the outside, so no one goes there.

7. Gastopinay. this is a silly place. mostly gnomes. the southern part is the territory of a "race" of flightless birdlike humanoids. no one is sure if they are all one race, or if they are many races living together, as there are many different kinds of them. they are guarded and have decently closed borders.

8. Blasted Lands. as the rumor goes, a thousand (always a thousand no matter when the story is told) years ago, this was a thriving magocracy. some powerful powerful summonings took places and a gateway to the hells was opened. this land now i hellish place filled with demons. the only surviving native creature is a species of raptor that can actually eat the demons.

9. Grunwald. dwarven lands. part of the alliance.

10. Deigan. human lands. monarchy. part of the alliance.

11. Rasth. elven lands, part of the alliance.

12. the capital of the alliance. these 3 nations have banded together to fight against the tyranny of the Emperor of Thesk.

13. Thesk. human lands. followers of Bane (LE). ruled by "the emperor" this was a peaceful lands until the emperor took over 300 years ago and brought with him hate, fear, and Bane. some rumors say that the emperor is 300+ years old. others say that he passed the kingdom down through his family line, which is why they all look alike and have enormous magical power.

14. contested lands between the alliance and Thesk.

15. rocky dirt lands that is decently unfit for society. no kingdom has claimed it. lots of drugar, trolls, giants, etc.
